Well
It’s been written in an entirely unbiased way and supported with every possible documentary evidence from the most reliable resources of the history of the Subcontinent. Writing a book about only the last years of the British Raj in such an extensive way in itself is quite admirable. The book presents a whole narrative of hastily shaping the post- colonial India in the process of its decolonisation , and the horrible repercussions of this uncalled for haste. That makes this book not just a narration of events but draws the attention of its readers towards the colonial mindset and the degree of importance it gives to humans in their individual capacities.
