Dreadful. I could not understand a word Kirsten Stewart was saying, as she tried to produce an upper-class English accent by just mumbling through gritted teeth. The script was so bad - I have seen better from teenage students - and the music was completely unsuitable. Why do so many film makers today ignore the sound quality? If it is a drama, you need to hear the speech. I gave up after half an hour, though I went back and scrolled through it later just to see if it could get any worse - and it did. Anne Boleyn, no less, strides around the (obviously not in the UK) palace making strange remarks. Why any family would put up with such unpleasant staff is also beyond me, and making Sally Hawkins play a lesbian dresser was a laugh out loud moment. The continuity had glaring mistakes and the other family memebers were just cardboard cut-outs. It always amazes me that directors and film crews get an enormous budget but cannot get the basics right.
