This show has opened my eyes to real life issues that I’ve been blind to in the past. Each episode proves to be hard hitting, gut-wrenching, and tear-jerking. It has shown hurt, disappointment and pain in families and relationships caused by bad choices but has also shown healing and restoration through humility and listening to wise counsel. It has shown the inequity and the pain caused by injustice. I don’t agree that we should actually defund the police but there definitely should be many changes in our system and some good suggestions are made by characters in this show. The screenwriters have done an amazing job. Change needs to happen so we can do better! We must do better!!
