Short and sweet... If you want a show that doesn't require a ton of thought, will give you a good laugh, and have your kids on the edge of their seat, check this show out! Mine love cheering on the Ham-Stars, and for all you parents raised in the '90s, the show will definitely speak to you!

The book was cute. The illustrations were well done and the storyline was easy to follow.
My one concern is Lewis the ladybug was referred to as "they/their". I do understand that it's hard to identify what gender a bug is, but the character looks like a female and is also named Lewis. It just felt like the authors were trying to slip a hidden agenda into a children's book. My children are under the age of 8. They care about all the different bugs and flowers; not what their sexes are.
That aside, we had fun coming up with voices for each character and loved the majestic wings of the butterfly?

I've been up all night after watching it, so the scare factor is real. Though it wasn't in the typical jumping, suspenseful sense. It kind of reminded me of the first time you watch the Exorcist and see the girl's face close up. The doppelganger's voice is so chilling it sticks in your mind.
Still a bit confused on the plot as a whole which is why I gave it 3 stars. Pretty sure this is one you need to watch multiple times to fully understand it, but I'm not going to be doing that so... 😅
