This movie was excellent and I'm glad I did not listen to the people that reviewed it negatively!!! Jennifer Lawrence as all the other actors were incredibly amazing, especially the gentleman who played her uncle. Definitely worth the watch and having some compassion for people that live these type of lives. Yes these things really happen.

If I can give it a zero star I would. Worst movie I've ever seen hands down. I didn't even watch all of it, I kept fast forwarding through it. Waste of time.

Fantastic movie, very well done. True to life story, the daughter Grace's role made me really angry the whole time during the movie. Despite any mistakes of the past on her father's behalf, she should have moved on a long time ago with her life. Typical selfish daughter with her hatred and jealousy inside towards everyone including her father, she deprived her father of his happiness in life in his old age. Real to life truths that entitled children feel that they have to pay people back for their childhoods. Grace pushed everything and everybody in her life away because of her own selfishness. The love story was beautiful, so sad his daughter ruined it and his chance at the brass ring.
