One of the first (if not the first) "fan" films about Star Trek that I watched, this ground breaking film paved the way for future efforts (Especially "Prelude To Axanar"). Starring actors and actresses from across most incarnations of Trek, the story is a time travel "puzzlebox" adventure that starts as aboard the USS Enterprise (museum) when a call is received from a automated satellite orbiting a deserted world. This holds up very well considering how old it is (and how bad recent Trek has been) and compares favorably to the previous mentioned "Axanar". Star Trek Fans with a modicum of knowledge view this as a homage due the various interstitial references, familiarity with trek is not a pre-requisite for veiwing. Highly recommended.
