One of the best Chinese movies to watch. Be it action or the subject of love, the movie has it all. I have watched so many love triangle movies, but this movie has a very different ending. This is a movie that you can't forget soon.

In the ancient times, thousands of villagers used to die due to diseases such as Plague, smallpox, measles, cholera.There were rumors about the evil and then there was a goddess who the villagers believed to be their protector. Not worth a watch, plot isn't that good. I hated the protagonist(Jodie foster) and I liked the black Guy who was quite skilled, he was there because he needed the money. Even though the lady was very rich, she risked her husband and daughter' life. she seemed a devil completely.to me and more dangerous than the thieves.
