We have seen a number of productions at Bucks County Playhouse and this is the best we’ve seen. We see shows on Broadway often and the talent here comparable. In fact, I saw the original production with Kelly O’Hara, and this production is as moving. Robert Jason Brown is being appreciated for his talent , as a composer ,currently on Broadway in Parade, and now this regionally.

All the actors deliver fine performances with Myrell Streep giving a thoroughly three dimensional performance as Julia Child. I found it a very rich film touching all emotions. Very well written screenplay which never sags and delivers on all cylinders.

An incisive commentary on popular culture, denial of uncomfortable reality, cultish leaders and ultimately a clarification of values that count.
