We watched the movie seeing all positive reviews and thoroughly disappointed with the 4.5 hours spent (including the drive time). The core concept is good; however, this is not backed by a strong script. Most situations are very predictable, the love scenes are very artificial with Ajayan and the girl. The only saving grace is the character played by Basil and the main Villain also looked convincing to some extent. Tovino with his good physique looked convincing on the fights. But some of the fights were too long and pointless (especially the last one). They were trying to bring in some of the caste problems from the past with Rohini (Ajayan's mother not allowed in the temple etc), but somehow it was not very convincing and natural.
