After reading the books a few years ago, I was left wanting more. I read a lot and that imo is always what you want from a book. Not necessarily more, as in the story wasn't complete which technically it wasn't in You, because there is a second book, which I am guessing is what the second season will be based on but more from the Author and more of Joe. I didn't want it to end. So when I saw that they were making it into a show, I was excited to see how they would adapt it. Of course the books are usually always better. I am on episode 7 and there are some changes I didn't care for but there are some that are good as well. I am really enjoying it, they did a great job picking the characters, especially Beck. Joe, I pictured to have long hair and be a little different but the actor has grown on me and of course Peach was supposed to be black, that storyline changed quite a bit but it is good. So, yes I recommend watching. Very good adaptation, I highly recommend the book as well. Especially if you want a more in depth look at Joe and how he became like he is. The book goes into way more detail about that. 3.5/4 out of 5 for me.
