I just watched Garth Bray, on Seven Sharp, encouraging people to kick Kiwi businesses while they are down [and in many cases desperate]. Advising people to put unwanted and unfair pressure on retailers for a bargain and a better deal is outrageous.
I live in Kaikoura, and we are on our knees again for the second time. We are struggling, and certainly don't need to be kicked down any further with Mr. Brays urged vulture mentality. He is callous and not in touch with reality.
Thankfully, I believe the vast majority of New Zealanders are kind and compassionate, and won't be taking up his advice.
I sincerely hope Fair Go management have a close look at this person. I always thought Fair Go was there to stand up for all New Zealanders, not to pitch them against each other. After all, isn't 'Fair Go' the name of the programme?
