The definitely screwed the pooch with this one. Many times during this I thought I was watching the tru channel. The director and writers treated this as a indie film trying to over-comlensate with ancient horror film references, when we only wanted to see the conjuring. Not a feble attempt to be profound. I will remember Michael Chaves, but probably not the way he would want.
