The books are always better than the movies...and in this case it's truer than ever. They changed almost everything they could!! This movie does NOT justify or even represent the books in any way, shape or form other than the characters names. Even all their backstories (what tiny bit you get) are all changed for crying out loud!! I did like the actor selection for the most part, but that was all. The movie itself if you haven't read the books...was still terrible. They left out any details as to what was really going on really leaving you to wonder what the movie was about. If I hadn't read the books, I wouldn't have really known or cared about what was happening in the movie because as a movie, it missed all the marks of engaging the audience. But as a representation of a book, it seriously missed every mark.

Another pathetic remake. The original was soooo much better. This one did not do the original justice.
