This show is good. The acting, FX, storyline & choice of point in narrative in the LOTR universe is all good. The problem is the supposed fanbase of LOTR. Every time there's a newer adaptation the 'fan base' ruins it. As if the fans themselves could develope, produce, write, and direct something better! I'm a Tolkien fan. Have read the LOTR trilogy and The Hobbit. I'm a fan of everything that's been attempted, if for no reason other than its been attempted, and executed to some degree. These supposed fan bases are so snobby and ungrateful and juvenile in their sentiment about anything that is new and fresh for the simple fact that it's new and fresh, and they probably got rejected to participate in the show some how. All these die-hards ruin it for everyone else that actually enjoys the greatness of having an entire universe developed into a visual series. Tolkien himself would be crying with joy to see his longest, most dearly held project, adapted into a billion dollar series. It's any artist dream, especially a fantasy novelist. Idk I could say more but all I can say is if this is read by head-honchos or anyone from production and behind-the-scenes, it's good! Don't let these sensitive, superfluous dweebs spoil it for the sensible level-headed viewer and enjoyer.
