Cameron Alberes (Cam)

I gave it a 2/5 because the graphics and gameplay I found extremely evolutionary. However, the political agendas pushed in this game are so prevalent and obnoxious it made me want to not finish the game. Also, all of the beloved characters from the first game are disrespected, misrepresented, impossible to relate with, bleak, and bland. They were pushed to the side to make room for less interesting, politically motivated, villains. For some reason Naughty Dog just does not know who their fans are. There was an unrealistic amount of LGBTQ members in the game, considering they are already a minority in the real world and the world of The Last Of Us had far less people. Just a thought, it disconnected me from the world. The sting focus on sexuality was so un-immersive and obnoxious. Not to mention the characters don’t act like themselves the entire game. The narrative is poorly told and never lets the player reach the climax of a story. Instead it constantly tries to show opposite viewpoints and multiple narratives. Momentum is completely lost. The marketing for this game was also complete false advertising which is sad from such a well known and received company. Anyways, a major disappointment after all the waiting. Wish I hadnt played it.
