I am stunned at how many good reviews this got. It changes so much from the book, it should not be allowed to use Herbert’s name or the name Dune. The fact that the reverend mother is still pregnant with Alia at the end of the movie is a huge change. The Spacing Guild and folding space are never mentioned. And that’s the whole reason spice is needed. I couldn’t wait for this inaccurate turd to be over. If you actually read the book and want to see a similar portrayal of the work, don’t waste your time.
