As a long time Forza fan (been playing since Forza Motorsport 2) I was disappointed in Horizon 3 but Horizon 4 seems to have improved somewhat. It's amazing that such a large franchise is only just catching up with Test Drive Unlimited 2! Nevertheless Horizon is a playground with plenty to do. As an open world game for car enthusiasts, you can't really ask for more - this game has all the variety you could ask for. However I do think that they've over-casualised it to a point where racing game veterans and fans of Motorsport will often roll their eyes in the level of patronisation and pretense and the whole "party" culture. The start of the game is a chorr if you've got a lot of experience with previous games, but once you get started it's a great casual game. You won't find any technical driving as all the roads are wide and very few tight or narrow turns. The car list is also very dated and too conventional, with very few interesting or surprising vehicles. The graphics however are superb, especially at 4K on PC. With an NVMe SSD load times are instant, unlike Xbox One where everything ttakds minutes, not seconds. Main issues are the lack of improvements to the clunky auction house, dated car list and no reap challenge for hardcore racing game enthusiasts.

Not seen the first one but seen all the Harry Potters. This movie is just bland. Much of the lore from the HP universe is there, but nothing beyond that. For a movie that's well over 2 hours, very little happens. The characters are lifeless and so is the story.

Average, typical predictable film. Nothing bad necessarily, I had low expectations. But they really made it longer than it needed to be, which is puzzling given how devoid of story and nuance it is. Still, if you like James Bond it's worth watching, though you aren't missing anything if you're not an avid fan. Would give it 2.5 but rounded down due to the lack of anything spectacular or memorable.

Terrible compared to Deadpool 2. Far too much profanity and violence, with very little comedy and originality. Where Deadpool 2 has story and comedy, Deadpool 1 is just 2 hours of swearing and other chavvy things with out the witty writing.

As with the first movie, GotG2 is an epic, light-hearted film which shines due to its characters and amazing visuals. It's Marvel's take on Star Wars, with the most streamlined, simple / uninventive plot possible. Yet that doesn't matter. This is a film that appeals to diverse audiences, especially if you have never seen any other Marvel film or TV show or played any of the games etc. It's not quite as special as the first but definitely worth seeing if you enjoyed volume 1.

At a time when games seem to be getting worse, soulless, more broken and expensive, Modern Warfare 2019 has recaptured the magic of the original MW games. The definitive Call of Duty is back big time. The developers listen and engage with the community, swiftly fixing bugs, balancing and addressing feedback. The gameplay and controls are now balanced, with the most variety of weapons and game modes ever. But the best thing about this is cross-play. For so long I have wanted to play on PC with my friends on console and it's finally a reality and is well-balanced, regardless of whether you use a controller or keyboard and mouse. Everything about this game oozes quality at a time when other games are getting more sloppy in their QA. The business model is also very good, with all additional maps and meaningful content free for all players.

The film is just too bizarre and chaotic. It lacks a compelling story and somehow doesn't seem to flow well at all. There's a distinct lack of characters and the message it's trying to get across doesn't really hit home. Something feels off about it, it's longer than necessary and yet feels quite shallow.

One of the worst video game launches I have ever personally witnessed. I feel bad for anyone who bought the game as opposed to Game Pass. Even then, the frustration in getting the game to simply install on Windows 10 is a big barrier. As for the online, it is a complete joke. Even amateurs could do better. No servers in Europe. Very little content. Riddled with bugs, connection issues, gameplay problems, lack of a decent progression system, microtransactions etc. Clearly they had no incentive to do it right because it was the poster game for Game Pass, and the vast majority will never even play multiplayer. They did the bare minimum with the campaign. Gears fans are extremely disappointed

If you can ignore the blatant fact that it's not set in 1985-1990 based on numerous scenes (the cars, technology etc. - more like late 90s to early 2000s, but I even spotted a 2017 Skoda in one scene), then this is a perfect blend of Salt, John Wick and a touch of Bourne. Definitely far better than what the critics say!

Gripping, suspenseful, well-directed and good characters. This is a surprisingly good TV series. Especially the third season. Season 2 is the weakest of the three. Shame it was cancelled.
