I enjoyed this movie a lot. Unlike so many others, I guess, I thought Katherine Heigl was great as Stephanie Plum. I thought the other characters were well-cast, believable, and entertaining. I loved Debbie Reynolds as the grandmother. An exciting, entertaining story that was engaging from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this movie. I remember the old Pink Panther movies with the wonderful Peter Sellers. This updated Pink Panther kept everything that great about the originals, the clueless Inspector Cluseau, causing catastrophes everywhere he goes, all the physical comedy, and comedic ineptitude. Meanwhile, the outdated sexism is replaced with more likeable female characters. And Béyonce Knowles is also fabulous in this, as one of the important, and likeable female characters. Rent it, buy it, watch it. You'll have a good time.

The movie starts out with Adam Sandler as a nice, mild mannered guy being sh#t upon by everyone else. This keeps up for most of the movie, which is totally depressing. A plot twist at almost the end of the movie gives it a heartwarming ending, but the majority of the movie consists of abuse, destruction, and the message that, as in the words of Alfie, it's wise to be cruel.
