Arianne Trapp

One of the dumbest and dullest big-name movies I have ever seen. It's hard to really sum up anything, because I can't remember most of what happened even 30 minutes after watching this movie. The writing and jokes are about as good as C-diff super-bacteria diarrhea. CGI is subpar, likely because of the crunching and deadlines forced on VFX teams that Disney/Marvel has become notorious for. It would be an abysmal embarrassment if not for being so boring that you forget what happened within 15 minutes after the credits roll. I can't say much else when I almost fell asleep multiple times watching this movie. I wish Marvel/Disney would please stop with the children and "oh look our main hero becomes a dad and now he is whole" Disney trash plot device. It's in virtually every Marvel/Disney film or show with a male lead and it's always either mediocre or done horribly, with child actors who can't act at all. Kids are not a fix to character self-conflicts, and it's really lazy. It worked in Endgame, but hasn't worked as of late. Rather than explore the character themselves, there keeps on being kids used as plot devices and it's ridiculously overused in place of any actual effort. Marvel is dead, and Rest in Peace, Thor. You deserved so much better as a character.
