This movie was satisfying and entertaining. Not the best, but jeez was it entertaining. The actors all turned in great performances. Shout out to Marsden, the man killed. Jim Carrey stole every scene he was in and hasn't been this infectious to watch since the 90s. There was a great deal of moments where a joke didn't land or seemed to kiddie for my taste, but I'm 35. This was my childhood, but wasn't made for me. The kids in the crowd were wooping and that made me happy.
The biggest praise I have for this movie is at no time did I feel like it disrespected the character or source material. It was it's own thing, but it showed proper respect. Was really fun.
