This was a triumph. A hard watch, a very unsettling watch, and I did need to shelve my fond memories of Poe’s masterpiece, but - this is also a masterpiece!
It’s that rare thing, it’s a show that left me thoroughly satisfied, exhausted, and still wanting … never more.
