Iโve played Borderlands 1, 2, the Presequel, 3, and now Iโm about halfway through this campaign.
So far its a big step above Borderlands 3 story wise, gameplay wise, and feels like a Borderlands game in many ways. The writing and humor is back to the old enjoyable stuff, and the weapons and combat feel great without being a slide fest.
My only gripes are the UI being a bit too bland and out of artstyle of the game really. As well
as Fast travel points needing to be unlocked, though it does add some more to do in the game, it does need more regular points for travel.
Its a solid game on PS5 for me, only had two glitches in 25 hours, and it was just a simple weapon switching glitch that I unequipped and equipped again to fix the issue.
If you enjoyed BL2, (The best one), and BL3 was enjoyable but short, then youโll love how much there is in this game to do, as well as better writing and characters. Its a great game this time around.
