This show, yet not finished, has been breathtakingly beautiful. Depicting Feudal Japan as close to historical fact as one can get, through the warring lands and Regent leaders trying to either control or save Japan. With saving Japan left on the shoulders of Lord Yoshii Toranaga-sama, played by the great Hiroyuki Sanada, against the council of Regents led by Ishido, played by Takehiro Hira, who is attempting to take over Japan. Through schemes and tedious planning; you will be left wondering who will come out on top and who may die. “Shōgun” will have you on the edge of your seat and begging for the next episode to air. All in all I rate this show 10/10 with story, cast, and set design. Cannot wait for the next 2 episodes to air, with the finale airing on the 23rd of April with episode 10. I conclude my review by imploring anyone reading this to watch the show you will not be disappointed. 🇯🇵
