From the oh so realistic opening to the bitter end credits, this is a masterpiece. Having served 4 tours in Afghanistan, I can say that this captures the whole range of modern warfare. Can't wait to watch it again. It can go on my pirate drive from my last deployment.... top 100 films most likely to end up on sipr.

Good show, great acting except for the overbrooding number 7. I really dont like her overacting. It's like she keeps playing a whiney, brooding kmart version of avril lavigne but acted like eric Roberts.

The acting by oscar is great. +1* The Story is Great +1* The direction, shot choice, awkward chemistry, editing choices, locations, supporting cast choices, music timing and artistic vision and worst of all, pacing are horrible. Almost all of these things are indicators of a horrible director. -100* Example, playing 3 music clips that all clash with the characters, just in the first 45 seconds of the entire first show. Another? The wife of the character played by Oscar, horribly unlikable person in the show, very uptight and cold. She has a scene with Oscar, actually most of them and those scenes don't seem like they ever met each other, much less that they were married and spent years escaping life changing peril. Just a very flat performance. Kinda like Rey from star wars, just cold and 2 dimensional and not humorous or likeable. You have to think, did these people ever share a room while filming or were they edited by cgi into the scenes?

I love this show. I didnt think I would but it seems very much like a roddenberry type series. Its almost like TNG was done over but instead of always facing impending doom there is humor.
