If you're going to do an adaptation, either stick to the source material and add in color a la The Last of Us, or re-imagine and remix the source material in a way that feels true to the core and theme of the original, a la Battlestar Galactica. I can't say this adaptation truly succeeds at one or the other, but man is this one of the most exciting, fast paced thrillers out there -- with some mindbending concepts and visuals to back it up.
