Entertaining, an early 19th century version of Gossip Girl.

Law & Order it isn't, but it is still entertaining.

As sad as it was, probably an accurate outcome of Charlotte and Sydney given Jane Austen's own personal history and the times it was written in. Refreshing that it didn't become Pride & Predjudice goes to the beach-which is where I thought it was heading. Would have been nice to see one of the men take interest in the heiress other than the hypochondriac brother..she went to the trouble of inventing the character, why not put a spin on it?

I accidentally started watching this & couldn't stop; I binged watched 99% of it. The dialog is so funny-must have had quite a few writers for this one. The locations and wardrobe are great-the jewelry however does not convince of old $$ Manhatten-but they would probably go broke renting the good stuff. I'm guessing it's a parody of Paris & Nicky Hilton or at least that's who comes to mind on the Serena & Blair characters. I think if they do a remake they should definitely work in how everyone is surviving after Madoff & also how many of them paid for their kid's college degrees..You can't tell me that the few that were caught are the only ones...

I have only seen one other Tarantino movie and didn't hate the movie, but probably wouldn't watch it again bcs of the violence; that said-this is a true masterpiece. A lot of levels going on here with what I suspect is a hint of social commentary as well. Will for sure watch this again.
