I was excited and sceptical about this movie. Excited because I LOVE Lucy and Dezi. Sceptical because...well come on, Nicole Kidman as Lucille Ball??? Debra Messing wouldve been the best choice. Last night I saw the movie. Major disappointment. Neither Nicole nor the portrayal of Dezi were convincing. The writing was boring. The movie was everything that Lucille. And Dezi were not. Kidman made a fair attempt at Lucy's voice but it was unconvincingly flat. Highly disappointed.
