As an individual with an underlying medical condition that requires me to wear a face mask to protect myself from the flu, common cold and many other health risk I was disappointed in how your show handled the face mask issue on your coronavirus issue. It’s difficult enough wearing my mask in the winter and to medical facilities but your show just made it more difficult, now I get to endure the public’s opinion that I’m a hoarder, being unrealistic and not protecting myself properly. Your show did us medically fragile individuals an injustice. Didn’t distinguish why an individual would need to wear a mask, just sensationalized the overreaction of mask wearing and hoarding. And I have to disagree, if everyone wore a mask they wouldn’t spread the virus through their coughs and sneezes as the fluids wouldn’t be on surfaces to get people infected.
