One of the better adaptations out there. Gonna attract a lot of GOT and Lord of the rings fans. Video game fans may find it a little confusing as the story is wholly based on the books and netflix didnt actually explain the differing timelines. Ciri's story is the only one which starts in the present. Yennefer's starts at the least thirty years before the birth of Ciri. And Geralt's at the least twelve years before the birth of Ciri. Witchers, mages, witches, druids, dryads, elves dont age. So Jaskier in the second series should be an old man if we apply the above logic. Hmmm... Let us if the filmmaker's would actually go with it or just leave it as a plot hole.

Not as bad as i thought it would be. Movies based on video games tend to disappoint more often than surprise. But this one does surprise you. The plot could have used some thought. Cotillard could have got some more screen time. As she and Fassbender are the only doing the acting right in here.

So basically a ripoff of face off

9/10 for this series. Barring a single plot hole, the storyline has been watertight. Moreover, the cinematography as well as the screenplay is awesome. I really loved the guy who played Rowan. He was convincing as the mad scientist, the lovesick husband and father as well as the crazed maniac.

This movie is going to be another revelation. Absolutely loved the Paintra song. Also liked that it has been kept raw and real
