Kumbalingi nights is a good watch...tries to tear apart the conventional norms of musculinity and perfection(represented by fahad fazil who calls himself a complete man)and celebrates the marginalised and fatherless who has a home without doors...i thought the best part of th movie is the handling of fahad fazil, who generates a feeling of something abnormal and mysterious eventhough outwardly he looks nice and behaves decently by convention...At the end he proves to be a lunatic who needed to b tied down..it is the coventional ideas about musculinity and decency by the society thats been tied down..

Easily one of the best malayalam movies i have seen,if not the best...and i am not exaggerating..posthumous lamentations are generally farce and many a times comical..the brilliance of this movie is that it is supremely comical and frighteningly grave...the use of clarinet music,the sound of the sea,the rain and everything adds to the profoundness and authority of death..the only truth..go and watch it..its a stunning experience folks..

I feel exactly what mr mohanan v thot and fully endorse his views...a movie which fakes depth but basically was a very superficial and boring one..lot of incoherent and out off context sequences(like the fantasy ones) which doesnt add anything at all to the film...
