My exact review of this game is 4.95/5 stars because my only problem with the game was the optional task of beating the final boss of story mode without losing a stock to unlock a costume. However, since this is completely skippable and just gives you a skin I wouldn't knock down the game too much for it. I play the switch version and don't play online but from what I've heard it is a little bit watered down on the switch release. The best way to play this game (in my opinion) is with local multiplayer as some matches can get really intense and feels good when you finally hit the other person with a ball flying at speeds fast enough to cause brain damage as soon as it comes in contact with their body. It's got some of the best music that I've heard in games recently especially because it doesn't sound like video game music and can definently stand alone (AIN'T NOTHING LIKE A FUNKY BEAT and Ordinary Days V2 being my top tier picks). Nice visuals, balanced characters, and simple to learn;hard to master game play.
