First of all, the cinematography of this series was subpar. The textures, colours, and lighting used at the Mint came off as cheap in front of the camera. As a result, compared to LCDP (Original), the remake didn't have a distinguishable aesthetic/ aura. The aesthetic and cinematography of a series are important if you are world-building (Take for example Gotham in Matt Reeves' The Batman). In addition, the camera work itself was very messy and after ep3, I got dizzy from the different ways they handled the camera.
Second of all, the acting and dialogue were ridiculous. The lines said by Tokyo and Nairobi especially were too unrealistic and exaggerated that they came off as stereotypical caricatures instead of well-rounded individuals. In my opinion, their dialogue was solely for them to appear as "badass" when in fact, it just sounds hopeless.
In short, although I wasn't expecting Money Heist JEA to be a masterpiece, I also didn't expect Money Heist JEA to be this messy and unremarkable. I guess this is the consequence of publishing/remaking an original series less than 6 months after it concluded.
Although La Casa De Papel (Original) also had minor plotholes and problems of its own, it had a powerful message and iconic 'aesthetic.' that made them stand out from other competing crime shows/movies.
I do not recommend people watch the Korean remake.
