Honestly, there was no clear pov in this 'documentary. It brings in so many popular topics and casts a wide net...it has a bit of something for most people to grab on to. Thee title, "500 days in the wild", does not get explained in the movie. What her learnings from her original intention when she set out were never addressed. From the title, I wxpected it to be about wilderness..from the spoken intention, I expected it to be about her personal growth, journey and learning - I heard very little about that. There were moments that were genuine and sweet, whuch I liked. There was some scenery that was lovely. There were some quotes from wlders that were impactful. Overall though, it lacked focus, intention and clarity.
