This documentary was such an incredible watch! As a young black women in society, I felt like it was important that I watch this documentary. To see how Black Barbie came to be and the hardships she endured just to show she's matters in society. I loved how you guys talk about the physiological affects dolls have on young children. How in fact it DOES matter that they see themselves in dolls, because if they just continue to see pretty blonde women, they'll start to think they don't matter in society. I also believe it's important that other people of colour get made into dolls, showing how other cultures are just as important and young children understand these different cultures. Overall, excellent documentary.
