Seriously it was not what I was expecting to watch. The trailer needed to be something along the lines of the movie "Enough" or "Girl on the Train". I did not read the book, and from what I understood it was not what I was expecting when I walked into the movie theater. This is a domestic violence centered movie. Though, I do understand the concept, after watching the movie, it was poorly executed. A couple of co-workers also want to watch it and they came back and told me the same thing, this is not a rom-com, this is not a drama that is centered around romance. I don't dislike Lively 's acting. In age of adeline, I liked her in the simple favor. However, this movie was not for her. I get the author fell in love with her as that character, however, I don't see it. And I am not criticizing because of the age, but, a young 20-year-old is going to act differently than an actress who acts 20 years old while being 40. After watching the movie I would not own it, and honestly I wouldn't consider renting it.
