I never review movies. First one was alright as a book reader, second one was amazing. Different yes, cinematic yes, losing some of the internal dialogue from the books, yes. First one I really liked due to the cinematics, 2nd one I loved be cause the story was more fleshed out. Overall, LOVE IT, DEFINITELY WATCH IT.

It's alright. 40 percent through the movie you guess the "twist". The acting was great and the cinematography was great. That's what made this movie watchable. The writing was ok but the story itself was meh if you can believe it. The problem was the logic of the movie, the storytelling and the predictability. What caused 'this' to happen in this movie? I've seen this plot a million times, so it felt flat half way through just waiting for the "reveal". And where'd the father go? Lol. There were a few threads left hanging and many things unexplored. The ending made me laugh, like, just open the door, your daughter can't outrun you. Lol. It's a good "I'm bored and there's nothing else to watch" flick.

Really fun movie, with space stuff and time dilation. Up my alley. My 5 year old like it too .

Omg, shut up Tina, I can't listen to you hyperventilating for 90 minutes straight! 3 minutes of Shakey cam and red bubbles and Tina screaming put me over the edge of what I can tolerate. I love a lot of the cinematography underwater. Could've been cool, but it's the same old story, same old jump scares you find in those lame haunted house films. Don't go there, stop screaming, just one more minute, scratches on the walls, pentagrams, silhouette of bullcrap, music randomly playing, body pieces in jars, the guy you think is up to something is up to something blah, blah, blah. 👎
