It's a film that is difficult to fault. Robert Bolts brilliant screenplay successfully walks the tightrope of ambivalency that surrounds Lawrence, and tells what is essentially a true story. The cinematography is unmatched, and the standard of acting quite extraordinary.
It is a story of epic proportions that really happened. You can watch this film many times, and if you have any sense of history you will never be bored. Although not thrown in your face, it is also a story of betrayal.
