Mike Gould

Very disappointed with this so called biopic. I wasn't sure whether this was primarily a film or a musical. The acting was mostly unconvincing not least from the lead role, Taron Egerton. The only one who came up to scratch was Richard Madden as the lover then manipulative manager. A very familiar tale! Egerton failed to deliver as Elton John. His singing and acting had little character and the whole experience was a real washout.
