A poignant film about a farmer and his family, without any commercial 'masala' (read song and dance). Well-directed by globally acclaimed Jahnu Barua, the simple narrative will touch your heart while you feel for the plight of the farmer and his family-unfortunately still true 30 years post its release. It also depicts how politicians and government officials take advantage of the poor, leaving them to despair.

Watched 'Judgemental hai kya' due to the hype around it. While the start appears to be promising,mid-way the desperate attempt to create suspense gets irritating. Still if you manage to sit through this silly immature film on a topic like mental health, you will probably vomit at the ending because like most masala film it forces a happy ending. Absolutely insensitive and trivial film,probably because of Ekta Kapoor. Trust her to pick a mature subject like mental health because it's trending, add her type of masala to it and turn it into garbage. Learning: Next time i will be double check before investing on any film on it having any Ekta Kapoor connection.
