Obviously had some flaws (they not being able to pass as college graduates lol) luckily it was merely a 5 min scene, but the pilot was amazing and quite captivating. I was amused by the light technique used to differentiate the different realities, for me it kinda reflected on the different characters. The performances from each cast was brilliant. James Wolk definitely brought his A game playing the three characters, followed by someone who caught me by surprise (now I'm sad I judged her) Natalie Martinez, from her very first scene, her infectious laugh had me smiling, her emotional scene in the hospital with James had me bawling my eyes out , you could see that she is really invested in playing Amy and it's just so great to see a character who's laugh was infectious from the very start. Whilst I'm definitely supporting Amy and her chemistry with Joe based on the pilot, I can't wait to see what they have in store for Jenny (Elizabeth Lial) who also did very good. Don't get me started on Charlie Barnett, dude was very wholesome the entire episode , I definitely missed watching him and I'm beyond overjoyed that he's back. Will definitely be tuning in and hope for a renewal soon.
