Way to just take the amazing and beloved Witcher series and poop on it 💩 Plot was not developed enough and the characters are cringe, undeveloped, and unconvincing. What intended to be “woke” ended up perpetuating other stereotypes… disappointing because as a woman I was so excited for racially diverse and strong female leads. Uninteresting and ending up being a dollar store Game of Thrones. Netflix, stop crapping on one of the most beloved fantasy worlds. What could’ve been a fun origin story turned into too much creative license and having a hand in a story that wasn’t their own. Regarding newer seasons of the Witcher coming out… Henry Cavill loves the Witcher and isn’t playing Geralt anymore since the writers decided to divert from the true lore. I can’t wait for everyone to rage against Netflix when Henry leaves. That show had great potential to be the new GoT, but I’m predicting it’s failure. Netflix, stop trying to duplicate what can’t be duplicated (GoT Marvel etc). Stay faithful to the Witcher world and we’d love you for it. But if you’re gonna use your creative license, I beg you to at least make it convincing.
