This is an utterly brilliant piece of film making. The myriad of issues it raises almost seem revolutionary which is so sad in itself - it’s still so very unusual to hear women talk, and for a film to feature just one man in a speaking role. I need to watch it again as so much of the philosophy spoken by the characters was so integrated into their characters, it was impossible to take in on one viewing. The acting, writing, cinematography and score are wonderful. Uncomfortable subject matter for men especially ( this film also has non binary characters which felt very thoughtfully done ) but essential that we talk about male violence to women and children.
