This movie had a lot of hidden messages, one scene the lead character, ( Dr. Hess) gets a AIDS/HIV test. Now your a, " Vampire" able to live forever why a disease concern you !? Also strange how the characters that are , ( Vampires ) lick the blood of their victims off the floor or bed sheets instead a main artery !? Too much in this movie that had me saying, WHY !

Movie shows a period of time when love was to suppose to conquer all the pitfalls of life in a marriage. I remember when this movie came out Barbara Streisand acting ability was questioned for this role. The song , The way we were was and still is a smash song hit. Warobe was great for that period of time. I just think the producers tried to capture the a powerful effect that the movie , Love story . Had Shot years before .
