I thought that the movie had an amazing premise to go on. The idea was amazing but I don’t believe it was executed very well. And the new cell was not my favorite. It felt more like hirudegarn or a great ape than cell. I know he needed to be different but this version was not done well. And the animation they used just doesn’t work for dragon ball. It works with a lot of anime but it’s just not a style meant for dragon ball period. If they used the 3d modeling in a mixture for the fights like the way they did in broly; it would’ve been perfect. But between the animation, cell, and bad execution I can’t rank it high. I came in with higher expectations and was let down. But don’t get me wrong. It was still a fun movie and worth a watch. I still had an enjoyable experience. It just left me with a bad taste.
