This was the most tedious and overly repetitive series that I have ever watched. If you know the actual story, it’s quite compelling. Why didn’t it focus on the fact he had run an MLM that was shut down by 26 states and that a follower went missing in Alaska, and that he gambled hundreds of millions in the stock market and lost, that he was charged in 2015 with having sex with minors, which he also was suspected of in his mid-20s???? Yes, the things he did while the leader of NXIVM were also atrocious. All of it is compelling. But what HBO has here is a small group of people whining to their therapist. There is so much more to this story. Epic fail. This series is a snoooooozer. My teenager could have produced a better product.
