I initially watched simply because it was an AI sci fi but found myself dropped into the middle of a rather fragmented plot that suits its own story, slowly becoming whole as George's situation takes on a fragmenting of its own. The way the film progresses has a way of drawing you in. I wasn't impressed with the appearance of the humanoid robot, J3, but J1and J2 almost supplement her character and bridge the notion of her being more machine than what the acting and visual effects show. With very little dialogue, the film uses visuals to create unique personalities for J1 and J2 that you can emotionally connect with. J1, despite being the simplest, manages to shine with her own individual personality separate from J2. The suspense rapidly escalates as the film draws to an end with a twist. If you haven't realized the plot twist already, all the subtle hints begin to spark connections at the big reveal. Loved the visuals. Enjoyed the characters. At one point I entertained the thought of J3 making George into a robot AI.
