When i was 13 years old i first listened to 'The Slim Shady LP' and knew instantly that Eminem was a once in a multiple generation artist. I had the exact same feeling when i first listened to "Hi Ren" only a few weeks ago. What i couldn't of imagined was how many one of a kind songs Ren can create. The level of skill in guitar, beat making, singing, bass, and rapping is almost beyond comprehension. The varying styles of hip hop, blues, reggae, rock, and alternative he can not only play....but shine in is...once again....almost beyond comprehension. Sick Boi encapsulates so many of these elements. We are truly blessed to witness the ascension of Ren in this era. I haven't been this excited about new music in years. Highly suggest this album. It makes me wonder how much true suffering plays in the role of authentic art after learning about Ren's history. Makes you think
