This slim volume provided a viewpoint on the teachings of Jesus Christ from the Beatitudes and others areas that I had not read or even heard of before. As one newly returned to the Church, I found this book to be a great help in understanding what Jesus was saying. We know words are so very powerful and we also know that 2000 years ago words did not mean the same thing as they do today. I would recommend this for anyone seeking to understand--and read it several times. Emmet Fox copyrighted this book in 1932. I wish I had been given this book much sooner. If you're lost, this is a good place to start.
