Salt is one of the most formulaic movies I've ever had the misfortune of viewing. The movie looks like a crude Bourne Identity rip-off. There's little to no suspense in all of the many, many, many chase scenes. Why? Because the "action" is so fake. Because the movie is so poorly written. You know she's going to live. Always. And get into the most highly guarded and secure facilities. Because she's Salt. In the end, Salt unfortunately survives and her greatest enemy magically sets her free to fall 500 feet into the Potomac river and elude two helicopters while a couple of football fields from shore. Because she's Salt. Because they want to do a sequel. Ugh.
