I think this is a really good movie. There’s a few comments that that don’t like that Ethan has a crush on another boy. Which is absolutely ridiculous. There’s nothing wrong with Ethan being gay. Or that their are people of color in this movie. Anyways i think this movie is good, because I liked seeing the connection with Searcher and his dad grow throughout the movie. I also like that in the end, Searcher accepted that Ethan wanted to choose his own path, and that he didn’t have to be a farmer. And finally, another thing that i really love about this movie, is that it shows that there’s always a bigger picture. I liked that once the humans realized that what they were doing was hurting their floating turtle world, they fixed it, helping the environment. Great movie would definitely watch again!
